My hero is Ellen DeGeneres. She is an American stand-up comedian,television host,,actress,, writer,, andtelevision producer. She was born on 26th January 1958.She was born and raised in Metairie in Louisiana.She has one brother, Vance, a musician and producer. She is of French, English, German, and Irish descent. Betty Jane and Ellen moved with Gruessendorf from the New Orleans area to Atlanta ,Texas. Vance stayed with his father.
Her early jobs included working at J.C.Penney being a waitress at Tgi Friday's and another restaurant, a house painter, a hostess, and a bartender. She started performing stand-up comedy at small clubs and coffee houses.In the early 1980s she began to tour nationally; and, she was named Showtime's Funniest Person in America in 1982.
She performed in many roles on TV.She performed in Open house and in the film Conehead.
She has her own talk show named The Ellen Show.
She is lesbian and she is happy married with her wife Portia.
